BRING YOUR OWN ARTWORK SPECIFICATIONS
If you consider yourself a bit of a creative wizz and you have some program knowledge you are welcome to bring your own artwork at no extra cost to you. Please bear in mind that all the specifications below must be adhered to in order to receive your printing exactly the way you designed them. By following the specifications below you will be submitting your artwork what's known as press ready, if your artwork is not press ready an may be charged, the fee depends upon the time that will be required to correct your artwork so that it is press ready. ABOUT COLOURS
The only way you can be sure you are using the correct colours is to use a PANTONE COLOUR GUIDE BOOK.
Callibrating your screen will also ensure you are looking at colours that may be close to your selection.
Microsoft programs do not show CMYK colours and you should consider using safe colours. Adobe programs give you the flexibility to choose.

this is how you see colours on your screen (RGB)
RGB is the primary color model used by electronic display devices (e.g., monitors).
this is how colours actually print out (CMYK)
CMYK is the primary color model used by color printers and press machines.
As you can see from the diagram above it is very important you have your colours set to the correct modes
ABOUT FONTS
Fonts in your artwork need to be “converted to outlines” or “flattened” into a graphic.
Failure to do so means that during the transition from artwork development to press machine your fonts may alter without warning.
If you are using microsoft products, you will need to 'embed' the fonts:
- Microsoft Word and Powerpoint
“Tools > Options > Save tab” and select “Embed TrueTypeFonts”.
- Microsoft Publisher
“Tools > Commercial Printing Tools > Fonts”.
we are always happy to offer you free advice when you are putting together your artwork however if you do not understand the basic terminology above it may be advisable to leave the artwork to us, extra charges for layout set up of your artwork will incur ( usually a very small fee ).
please choose '+ funky artwork' for designer artwork by us or choose 'byo artwork' if you are supplying your own artwork. please read above for the byo guidelines.funky artwork does not include logo design, all logo's are byo. logos are a very time consuming task that require extra special attention.
